Description

Wac Arts are holding a four day showcase from the 23rd -26th March

As a key part of the future vision of Wac Arts, We are looking to develop our iconic building to connect with the community and the industry to become one of London arts and cultural hubs, with learning through the whole age range from 5 - 95. The Wac Arts Weekender is one of the early steps on the journey of elevating Wac Arts as we build the vision and plan.

This event will show the fantastic programmes we have on offer through a series of master classes and performances open to the public. It will also feature classes and performances run by our resident groups, including Starline Entertainment, University of the Third Age and Akademi South Asian Dance UK.

Example sessions include Aerials Workshops with Angeliki Nikolakaki, a Film and Television Panel Discussion with Starline Entertainment, a Horton Jazz Master class with David Blake, and an Afro House Dance Workshop with Sheila Attah and a promenade performance by our Senior Wac Arts students.
